OUR NELSON TRIP BY EMMA

  1. Nelson Bay

On 8th March we got on the bus and drove to Nelson.
Bishops school
We split up with room 3 and went to Bishop' school. The principal , Ms Green pretended to be Mr Green. Bishop's school was built in 1844 with high windows so you can't daydream. Bishop's school is quite small but the front of it was taken out years ago.  Ms Green said that the school back then was much more strict than what she did to us .  School back then was pure strict.

Museum

Queens Garden
We had morning tea on the Cathedral steps with room

3.Then we went to the museum.  It was so fascinating! We had to do a quiz and I got 19/23.   After school that day though I went on google to find out two of the answers.  After we came out of the museum we headed to Queen 's Garden to have lunch.  I loved it there because it is so beautiful.   We saw heaps of ducks and some naughty people fed them.  We saw an eel and a  frog.

After lunch we walked to Riverside Pools.  We had a go on the rope swing and the water was warm as!   Poor Ria though.   She couldn't swim because she had a broken arm.

 Riverside Pools
After I looked at my quiz sheet I found out that Joseph Thomas Sullivan was one of the Maungatapu murderers that was pardoned.   We had so much fun on our trip to Nelson.
