My name is Amandeep. I am 10. I have a mum and a dad and a big brother.
BOOK WEEK
We have book week to find out about book characters and to get kids into reading. It was
arranged by Becky. During the week we drop everything and read (DEAR). For the parade we had to wear costumes. I wore a pirate costume. It was on Friday. It was about islands. Mr B also wore a pirate costume.

TREASURE ISLAND
This story starts in the Admiral Benbow, an inn. Jim Hawkins (played by Quin) works there. Billy Bones (played by Shanti ) comes to stay. He has a map . He was once a pirate, a member of Captain Flint's crew. He is visited by Black Dog (played by Stevie )who fights him. Then the evil Blind Pew (played by Sasha ) comes and scares him to death.
Jim gets the map. He gets the Goodies, Dr Livesey (played by Charlie) Squire Trelawney (played by Sarah), Mr Dance (played by Shannen) and they hire a ship called the Hispaniola. The captain is Captain Smollett (played by Makayla) who gets Long John Silver (played by Madison) to collect a crew. Long John Silver is evil and one of Captain Flint's pirates. He collects all the other pirates and away they sail.
On the trip Jim hears of a plot to kill all the pirates. When they get to the island the Goodies go to the stockade. The baddies go in search of the treasure. An old pirate called Ben (played by Zion ) who has been marooned, arrives and joins the ghost.
Jim takes off and sails the ship around the island. The pirates have nowhere to go. There's a big fight. The pirates are winning until they hear Ben Gunn who they think is a ghost of Captain Flint. Ben screams horribly..
They all run away and the goodies find the treasure and sail back to England.
My favourite part was when the goodies found the treasure because it made them happy.
My favourite character Was Billy Bones .
My part in the show was Singing
The Olympics is in London. The idea of having a marathon came from ancient Greece. In 490 BC the people of Athens, the capital of Greece, were at war with an invading army of Persians. Did you know that Olympics started two thousand years ago and they used to compete in the nude.
We had 6 gold 2 silver 5 bronze medals. watch here

Rock Da House is when a lot of schools get together to put on a singing show. Some the songs are One day/ Something in the warter/ Bad hair day/ Count on me/ We are the world and We will rock you.

ORAL HEALTH WEEK
I learned that you brush your teeth three times a day. Brushing our tongue helps keep our breath fresh. The best way to brush our teeth is in little circles with fruoride toothpast.  |

WINTER TOURNAMENT
On winter tournament day I played hockey. In our team was Dougles / Duan / Sharly / Charly / Suelakah / Kingsford and me. On our first game we lost but we got four and they got one but in hockey we came third
OUR OPENING CEREMONY FOR THE MULTI -PURPOSE ROOM
On the 29th of October our school had a ceremony for the opening of our multi-purpose room. Whaea Tania, Whaea Sue, Mr Major, Aunty Mere, Whaea Gladys the Maori minster all came to the ceremony.

Kapahaka Fun Day On 8th of November it was kapahaka fun day. Motuea, Riwaka, Upper Moutere, Lower,Mahana, Mapua, Brooklyn came to kapahaka fun day.
