OUR NELSON TRIP BY LILY

Queens Garden

On Thursday the 8th of March we went to Nelson to learn more about the olden days.  We went to the museum and Bishop School (An ancient school ).  We went with Room 3 too.  We also went to Riverside pool at the end of our trip.  First my class went to Bishop School and room 3 went to the Provincial Museum.
At Bishops school we had to be as quite as a mouse. We weren't allowed to talk or make a sound. We also had to link letters and we had to sit at double desks. I sat next to Siobhon. We also had to wear different uniforms, the girls wore these white hats and little white tops, and the boys wore checkered vests. The teacher's name was Mr. Green. When we were about to leave we all found out that she was just acting, so she was really a girl.
After we went to some steps to have our morning tea.  When everyone was finished their morning tea room 3 and my class swapped.
The museum was very fascinating because there were different types of bones and things I have never heard or seen before.  I also saw some Moa bones. I did a quiz with Amber.
Later we went to the Queens Garden to have our lunch.  At the garden there were heaps of ducks that were trying to eat other people's food.  At the garden there was a pond and in it there were some cute little eels.
After our lunch we went swimming at Riverside Pools. There was a very big rope that people used to swing in the water.
Our trip was good fun.
