ROOM3 AND 4 LAKE TRIP
On the 22nd of May 2012 we went to Lake Rotoiti and I did a report on eels
EELS
Eels are born in the Pacific ocean. Then they move to places like Lake Rotoiti. They can also move on land but it has to be damp so they can move . When eels get to close to a dam they get killed by the machinery. They go back to the pacific to breed
DAVID GAWITH'S REPORT ON ANTARCTICA
On the 12 Tuesday june a scientist came to room4 to talk to us about Antarctica
My favourite Antarctic animal is the orca because of their great size and their black and white colour because black is my favourite colour.
They all run away and the goodies find the treasure and sail back to England. My favourite part of the show was My favourite character was I thought the whole show was My part in the show was We should thank the producer, Smiddey
In the late 19th century, many people became interested in the ancient history of Greece. They talked about the golden age of Greece, when it was one of the most powerful countries in the world. They began the modern Olympics, modelled on the Olympics of ancient Greece. NZ has 7gold medal, 2 silver medals and 5 bronze medals. watch here
TREASURE ISLAND
This story starts in the Admiral Benbow, an inn. Jim Hawkins (played by Quin) works there. Billy Bones (played by Shanti) comes to stay. He has a treasure map . He was once a pirate, a member of Captian Flint's crew. He is visited by Black Dog (played by Stevie) who fights him. Then the evil Blind pew (played by Sasha) comes and scares him to death.
Jim gets the map . He gets the Goodies, Dr Livesey (played by Charlie) Squire Trelawney (played by Sarah), Mr Dance (played by Shannen) and they hire a ship called the Hispaniola. The captain is Captain Smollet (played by Makayla) who gets Long John (played by Madison) to collect a crew. Long John is evil and one of Captain Flint's pirates. He collects all the other pirates and away they sail.
On the trip Jim hears of a plot to get the treasure. When they get to the island the Goodies go to the stockade. The baddies go in search of the treasure. An old pirate called Ben Gunn (played by Zion) who has been marooned, arrives and joins the gang.
Jim takes off and sails the ship around the island. The pirates have nowhere to go. There's a big fight. The pirates are winning until they hear Ben Gunn who they think is a ghost of Captain Flint. Ben Gunn screams horribly.

My report on oral health week
We had oral health week 2 weeks ago. We got to do a project and a poster. My project was on animal
teeth. This is a part of my project. first clue - in simple terms, animal teeth are for foods animals eat. last week on monday last week we got to have a lunch with the school.

WINTER SPORT
On Friday 14th.9 we had winter sport. I played hockey. We have winter sport because for something to do and to have fun. The sports are hockey, netball, soccer, rugby. I enjoyed finding out that we came 3 rd.
MY CAR
Mr B gave as a project to do . It was to make a car because room 3 monkeys made go-carts. I made a meccano car but it did not work. So I made a rubber band car. We had our race on Friday the 19th of October. I came 1st in the rubber band race.
My Morning Report 29.10.12
When every one went to the opening ceremony Sharntaye, Makayla, Madison, Montana, Gabreah and me stayed in class and played dice with Lisa as Montana played on the ipad. Then we played siclent ball.
KAPA HAKA
In the middle of term3 we started doing Kapa Haka . The school that are doing it are Lower Mowtere, Mot South, Riwaka, St Peter Chanel, Brookelyn, Nagatimoti, Salisbury, Mapua, Tasman Bay and Pakarana.
